Position: Senior Mobile Developer – Android

This role is based in Brussels and is open for both freelance contractors and candidates interested in a permanent contract (CDI).

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality Android mobile applications from concept through release.
• Work closely with stakeholders and the product team to shape requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage, optimize, and maintain robust app architectures using Kotlin and Android best practices.
• Create user interfaces utilizing Jetpack Compose and standard Android UI toolkits.
• Integrate and test new features, ensuring compatibility with varying Android versions and device types.
• Collaborate with other developers to facilitate code reviews, discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and security standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in the Android development ecosystem, including Kotlin Multiplatform projects when relevant.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to app lifecycle management, continuous integration, and delivery processes.

Skills & Technologies Used:

• Advanced expertise in Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience working in Android Studio leveraging Android SDK and toolchains.
• Optional experience with Java for Android projects.
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform projects.
• Understanding of mobile app security, testing, and performance optimization.
