Position Overview: The Senior M&amp;A Analyst plays a central role in supporting investment banking activities focused on mergers &amp; acquisitions, corporate financial services, asset management, and strategic advisory.<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Day-to-day responsibilities include:</li><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Executing advanced financial modeling techniques, including DCF, LBO, and merger models, as well as constructing peer and sector comparables.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Conducting deep financial analysis of client P&amp;L statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Ensuring full compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards in all analyses and deliverables.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Leveraging advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data platforms (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, FactSet) to produce high-quality materials.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Playing a key role in the due diligence process for M&amp;A mandates, coordinating with stakeholders to validate financial assumptions and uncover risks.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="6">Performing company valuations using a range of accepted methodologies.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="7">Preparing professional-grade pitchbooks and investment memorandums for client presentations and board-level discussions.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="8">Conducting strategic market and sector research to provide actionable insights for clients and to inform deal origination.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="9">Interacting regularly in English, French, and Dutch within internal teams and in communications with clients, investors, and partners.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="10">Maintaining strict confidentiality on sensitive projects and adhering to all firm compliance protocols.</li></ul><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Scope &amp; Objectives:</li><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Deliver robust analytical support on complex transactions and mandates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Ensure analytical outputs directly contribute to successful transaction structuring and the credibility of client advisory services.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Demonstrate autonomy in managing assignments while providing support and alignment with broader team objectives.</li></ul><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Required Qualifications:</li><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a top-tier business school background.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">3 to 5 years of experience in M&amp;A, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or financial audit focused on transactions.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Fluency in English; proficiency in French and Dutch is essential, additional languages a plus depending on office location.</li></ul></ul>

The ideal profile includes:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Exceptional analytical rigor and an acute attention to detail, enabling high-quality, robust financial analysis and business insight.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Mastery of advanced financial modeling and valuation methods (including DCF, LBO, comparables), with confidence navigating complex financial and accounting frameworks (IFRS/GAAP).</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Proven due diligence and transaction experience, ideally gained within M&amp;A, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or financial audit.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Superior command of financial tools and platforms, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and FactSet.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Academic excellence: a degree from a top-tier business school, university, or engineering program in finance, economics, or related disciplines.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="6">3-5 years of relevant experience in high-level financial environments, with demonstrated exposure to corporate transactions and strategic advisory.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="7">Outstanding written and spoken communication skills in English. Proficiency in French and/or Dutch (or German, depending on the office) is highly valued.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="8">Poise under pressure, with the ability to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="9">Absolute discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality, particularly when interacting with senior executives and clients.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="10">Collaborative mindset, capable of working independently while actively contributing to team success.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="11">Intellectual curiosity and a genuine passion for financial markets, complex business challenges, and strategic corporate development.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="12">Client-facing professionalism, with the maturity and communication skills to build relationships with demanding, high-level stakeholders.</li></ul>If you thrive in analytical, intellectually challenging settings and are motivated by the dynamics of corporate transactions and financial markets, you will excel and grow in this environment.
