Location: Red Sea Coast, Saudi Arabia Start Date: ASAP Duration: 2 months (extendable) Contract: Freelance, USD-based Rotation: 6 weeks on / 4 weeks off Schedule: 12 hours/day, 6 days/weekResponsible for overseeing all QHSE aspects of a large-scale logistics and port development project, this position leads on-site teams by implementing and optimising quality, health, safety, and environment systems in line with international and local regulations. Acts as the principal site contact for QHSE, managing compliance, risk, and continual improvement processes while coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Supervise QHSE teams, ensuring robust site-wide process compliance.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Lead audits, manage non-conformities, and ensure prompt resolution of findings.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Develop and enforce QHSE procedures and policies aligned with project scope and best practices.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Conduct comprehensive site risk assessments, prepare detailed reports, and oversee accurate documentation.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Promote a proactive approach to safety and environmental issues at all times on site.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="6">Utilise QHSE compliance software, audit tools, and risk assessment platforms to monitor and improve performance.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="7">Facilitate effective communication and coordination across project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.</li></ul>Requirements for the role include substantial prior experience (10+ years) in QHSE functions within construction, EPC, or heavy industry environments and 3+ years in a managerial health and safety position. NEBOSH and CMIOSH certifications are mandatory. Fluency in English is required, with Arabic language skills considered beneficial. Technical proficiency should include QHSE compliance software, risk assessment, environmental procedural knowledge, industrial hygiene, and audit coordination using platforms such as TeamMate Audit. Experience with remote, rotational, or complex project environments is preferred. Accommodation and logistics are provided. Compensation will be determined according to profile.
