Role Overview:The Assistant Project Manager supports the execution of energy transition projects throughout Belgium, working directly with the Project Manager. The position focuses on the development, renovation, and construction of high-voltage substations (15kV–380kV), battery storage, solar energy, EV infrastructure, and data center projects for both grid operators and industrial clients.Main Duties &amp; Scope:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Assist the Project Manager in steering projects ranging from €500K to €10M in value through all stages, from initial preparation to final delivery.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to align workflows and ensure timely delivery of project components.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Contribute to the drafting of work methods and technical documents, prepare orders, and support in developing on-site technical solutions.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Participate in planning meetings and assist with effective resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Support project financials, including progress reporting, invoicing, and billing activities.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="6">Collaborate closely with engineering teams for the realization of optimal technical designs, especially concerning high voltage power systems.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="7">Work alongside site supervisors and technicians to foster teamwork and smooth project progression.</li></ul>Tools &amp; Communication:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Extensive use of Office 365 for project documentation and coordination.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Engage in technical and organizational communication in Dutch (fluent), with regular interaction in French and English (working proficiency).</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Apply knowledge of project management, construction management, and technical documentation, with familiarity in power systems and contract management seen as advantageous.</li></ul>

Comfort with power systems and high-voltage applications is a definite advantage.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Organizational Skills: Exceptionally organized, able to juggle multiple responsibilities, coordinate with various stakeholders, and contribute effectively across all phases of a project.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Analytical and Problem Solving: Brings sharp analytical skills to interpret technical documentation, propose technical solutions, and support quality and sustainability measures within projects.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Communication: A clear and confident communicator, comfortable collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with suppliers, subcontractors, and technicians. Strong interpersonal abilities ensure positive team dynamics.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="6">Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch with professional working knowledge of French and English, enabling efficient collaboration in an international context.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="7">IT Literacy: Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and technical tools; experience with AutoCAD 3D or similar platforms considered a plus.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="8">Motivation and Mindset: Highly motivated, resilient, and result-oriented, with a natural drive to see projects succeed.
