The IT Systems Engineer will play a critical role in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within the organization. Key responsibilities include:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Acting as the primary point of contact for local IT matters, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing user needs and coordinating on-site service escalations.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Monitoring and managing support requests, incidents, and escalations, keeping users and stakeholders informed of progress.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Investigating and resolving technical issues within their area of expertise, escalating complex problems to relevant teams or external service providers when necessary.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Monitoring application systems, identifying performance trends, and taking corrective actions to optimize system performance and prevent future issues.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Collaborating with development teams and software suppliers to enhance systems and address user requirements.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Providing end-user training and support for specific applications, ensuring users can effectively utilize available systems and tools.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Managing third-party vendor activities, including HSSE compliance, repairs, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Participating in IT operations and support activities across the broader organization as required.</li></ul>

The ideal candidate will have:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a strong background in SAP environments.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">BAC+5 : Engineering school diploma or university diploma </li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Proven experience in end-user support and IT help desk operations, with a solid understanding of ITIL processes and call-logging systems.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Strong technical knowledge across various IT domains, including:</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem PlaygroundEditorTheme__nestedListItem"><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Hardware: Nutanix servers, Cisco &amp; Aruba networking equipment, Lenovo desktops and laptops.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Operating Systems: Windows 11/12, Windows Server, MS SQL Database.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Security: Commvault, Carbon Black, Zscaler, FortiClient, BigFix, Fortigate Firewall.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Telecommunications: Aruba and Cisco switches, routers, and PABX systems.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Applications: Microsoft Office 365, Intune, FortiClient EMS, SharePoint, Teams, SAP GUI, Nexthink, CyberArk, SolarWinds, Citrix.</li></ul></li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Experience in global or virtual team environments and the ability to coordinate with multiple service providers.</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A proactive approach to identifying and resolving critical IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.</li></ul>
