We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join and strengthen a dynamic legal team within a leading international group. <h2 class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__h2" dir="ltr">Key Responsibilities</h2>Reporting to the Legal Manager and collaborating with a network of legal professionals, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s business activities. Your responsibilities will include:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Developing, updating, and improving contract templates and other legal documents to support business operations.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Monitoring contract execution and assisting with the prevention and management of disputes when necessary.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Providing legal support on projects involving construction contracts, joint ventures, and public procurement matters.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Conducting legal research and monitoring regulatory developments in areas such as contract law, commercial law, and public procurement, while sharing relevant updates with internal stakeholders.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Contributing to the preparation and delivery of internal legal training and awareness initiatives.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Advising business teams on ethics, compliance, and corporate governance matters in line with group policies and standards.</li></ul> <h2 class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__h2" dir="ltr">Your Profile</h2><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Master’s degree in Law.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">3 to 5 years of experience in commercial law and/or contract law, gained within a reputable law firm or a corporate legal environment.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Experience in construction law, public procurement, or as in-house counsel is considered an asset.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Experience in contract review and adaptation, including the use of AI-powered legal tools, as well as strong negotiation skills.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Proactive, autonomous, detail-oriented, and client-focused mindset.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Fluent in French; knowledge of Dutch and/or English is considered an advantage.</li></ul> <h2 class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__h2" dir="ltr">What They Offer</h2><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">The opportunity to join an experienced and collaborative legal team.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A stimulating environment that encourages continuous learning and professional development.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A professional and supportive workplace culture built on expertise and knowledge sharing.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A competitive salary package, including attractive fringe benefits such as insurance coverage, meal vouchers, a company car, and a bonus scheme.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A variety of social, cultural, and team-building activities that promote employee engagement and well-being.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">The stability and growth opportunities offered by a successful organization that is part of a large international group with ambitious goals.</li></ul>
