Junior Legal Counsel supports the Legal &amp; Compliance team in ensuring all operations are aligned with UAE legal and regulatory standards. This entry-level legal position is suited for Emirati graduates with a background in law, particularly those seeking experience in the insurance sector.<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Drafting, reviewing, and supporting negotiations for contracts, insurance agreements, and formal correspondence.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Assisting with legal reviews related to corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Monitoring and interpreting changes in UAE laws and insurance regulations, and summarizing their impact on business operations.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Supporting the Compliance/AML team through the maintenance of AML/KYC documentation and coordination of required regulatory submissions.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Helping in the preparation of internal policies, reports, and procedures under the supervision of the Head of Compliance &amp; AML.</li></ul>Key skills for success in this role include strong abilities in contract law, legal document management, and a foundational understanding of compliance and AML/KYC practices. Working fluency in both Arabic and English is essential. This role involves handling sensitive legal matters with integrity and discretion, and offers a dynamic environment to further develop skills in legal research, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and due diligence.
