A key financial institution in Qatar is actively looking for a Head of Islamic Finance &amp; Capitla Markets to support their mission to position Qatar as a leading global financial hub by developing innovative financial products, enhancing regulatory frameworks, and fostering strategic international partnerships.<h3 class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__h3" dir="ltr">The Role</h3>As the Head of Islamic Finance &amp; Capital Markets, you will lead efforts to expand and enhance the financial services sector with a strong focus on Islamic Finance. Your key responsibilities will include:✅ Strategic Leadership &amp; Market Development<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Define and implement a roadmap to develop Qatar’s Islamic Finance and Capital Markets sector.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Identify opportunities for new financial products and services, including Sukuk, bonds, and derivatives.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Develop a private placement platform and private Sukuk program to attract international investors.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Establish Qatar as a hub for sustainable finance, working with global institutions.</li></ul>✅ Regulatory &amp; Policy Contributions<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Analyze local and international regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and recommend improvements.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Work closely with regulatory bodies to enhance the financial ecosystem.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Contribute to policy-making through research, forecasting, and market analysis.</li></ul>✅ Business Development &amp; Stakeholder Engagement<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Build strong relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and key market players.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Lead international roadshows, marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Promote Qatar as a world-class Islamic Finance hub, engaging with regional and global stakeholders.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Support firms in navigating licensing and regulatory approval processes.</li></ul>✅ Industry Thought Leadership<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Represent the organization in global forums, financial associations, and working groups.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Provide training and advisory support on Islamic Finance and Capital Markets regulations.</li></ul><h3 class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__h3"> </h3>
