For my client, a well-established independent advisory firm with multiple offices across Belgium, we are looking for a Director Estate Planning to strengthen the Family Office team in Hasselt.The organization supports family businesses, entrepreneurial families, and high-net-worth individuals with tailored advice on wealth structuring, estate planning, and business transfer. Their multidisciplinary approach combines financial, tax, legal, and strategic expertise, always with a strong focus on personal service and long-term relationships.Role:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Manage complex client files related to wealth and estate planning.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Analyze legal and fiscal issues and independently propose pragmatic solutions.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Draft advisory reports in collaboration with internal specialists.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Maintain professional relationships with notaries, bankers, and external advisors.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Review draft deeds, contracts, and other legal documentation.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Stay informed about legal and tax developments and monitor market trends.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Contribute to the further commercial growth of the practice.</li></ul>Profile:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Master’s degree in Law or Economics; additional specialization in taxation or estate planning is an asset.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in estate or wealth planning within a bank, law firm, consultancy, or notary office.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Strong expertise in inheritance law, matrimonial property law, gift and inheritance tax, and business succession planning.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Knowledge of corporate law and corporate taxation is considered a strong plus.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Client-focused with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential matters.</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>Offer:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A key position within a leading independent advisory environment.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Continuous learning opportunities through extensive training and collaboration with experienced specialists.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Flexible compensation and benefits package.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Entrepreneurial and people-oriented company culture where initiative is valued.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Modern and pleasant working environment with strong attention to work-life balance.</li></ul>
