Responsibilities and Functions:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Oversee the execution and processing of corporate actions within the asset servicing function, ensuring accurate and timely handling of events such as dividends, mergers, rights issues, and tender offers.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Reconcile and validate information related to corporate actions by liaising with various custodians, depositories, counterparties, and internal departments.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Disseminate detailed event notifications, record date requirements, and market deadlines to both internal and external stakeholders, providing ongoing updates on event statuses.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="4">Process instructions received from clients pertaining to elective corporate actions, verifying accuracy and confirming alignment with market rules and timelines.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="5">Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards, including those set forth by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="6">Utilize SWIFT messaging formats for the receipt, processing, and distribution of corporate action information, maintaining integrity and accuracy in communication.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="7">Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or exceptions related to corporate action events while minimizing operational risk.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="8">Contribute to process improvement initiatives, supporting technology enhancements and operational efficiencies within the asset servicing team.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="9">Prepare operational reports and documentation as required for audit, control, and management purposes.</li></ul>Scope:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">The role resides within the Finance division and focuses primarily on the Asset Servicing area, with a core emphasis on Corporate Actions activity.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Routine engagement with global financial market infrastructures, custodians, agents, and clients is required to support end-to-end asset servicing operations.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Day-to-day responsibilities align with industry standards for corporate actions processing, including adherence to compliance requirements and the use of SWIFT communication protocols.</li></ul>Languages:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">English is used as the primary language for all business, operational, and client communication.</li></ul>Relevant Skills:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="1">Experience in managing and processing corporate actions within a financial services environment.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="2">Operational understanding of BIS compliance requirements applicable to asset servicing.</li><li class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem" value="3">Proficiency with SWIFT messaging standards related to securities and corporate actions events.</li></ul>
