We are seeking an experienced and strategic&nbsp;Head of Accounting&nbsp;to lead an accounting department and ensure the integrity of our financial operations. As the Head of Accounting, you will play a critical role in overseeing all accounting activities, implementing financial controls, and providing leadership to a dedicated team of professionals. Key Responsibilities:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, or other relevant frameworks).</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reconciliation and reporting.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant financial processes.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Collaborate closely with senior management to provide financial insights that drive business decisions and long-term strategy.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations, as well as any other relevant statutory requirements.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and professional development.</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and timely resolution of issues.</li><li value="9" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Monitor and optimize cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.</li><li value="10" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and controls to support the company’s growth and efficiency.</li></ul>

Qualifications and Skills: <ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus).</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
