We're looking for a hands-on and driven Country Head of Finance / Finance Manager to join our leadership team in Guinea, and take charge of a large finance operation in a key West African market.This role offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to play a pivotal part in building structure, supporting strategic initiatives, and managing a diverse finance team in one of the busiest and most operationally intense offices in the region.<hr><h3 class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__h3" dir="ltr">🚀 What You’ll Do</h3><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Lead and restructure the local finance function, </li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Business partner and report directly to the Country GM.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Oversee financial operations, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, P&amp;L responsibilities, and reporting.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Supervise a team of up to 20 local finance professionals.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Collaborate closely with local leadership and international stakeholders.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Ensure operational excellence in alignment with group financial goals.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Lead the financial strategy, planning, and forecasting for the country operations.</li></ul><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Maintain compliance with local statutory, tax, and legal requirements.</li></ul><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Implement and oversee effective internal controls.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Track operational and capital expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Analyze business performance and drive cost-saving initiatives.</li></ul><ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Manage banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.</li></ul>
