Infrastructure Scaling and Maintenance: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and resilient systems on AWS, with a focus on performance and security.
Event-Driven Architecture: Enhance and maintain our event-driven platform architecture on AWS, ensuring that systems communicate efficiently and reliably.
DevOps and Automation: Develop and implement DevOps best practices, automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and monitoring for seamless operations.
Monitoring and Incident Management: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions, manage system health, and quickly respond to incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data integrity.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and bring innovative solutions to continually improve our platform's capabilities.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in platform engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and event-driven systems, preferably in the healthcare domain.
Deep experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, Fargate, etc.) and a thorough understanding of scalable, distributed systems.
Proficient in TypeScript or a similar language, with an emphasis on building and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
Proven experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar), as well as logging and monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
Knowledge of security best practices, especially as they apply to healthcare data solutions (HIPAA compliance is a plus).
